Ultimately, you are left with a sense of confusion. You start ruminating about the meaning of it all. Was this intended to be funny?

Or were we just all part of a grand, cosmic prank?

Catastrophe of Epic Proportions

The earthquake struck with devastating force, destroying entire villages in its wake. Buildings crumbled like house of cards, and the screams that ensued was deafening. Worst Day Ever

It all started with a terrible case of uncontrollable hair. I couldn't do it to look presentable. As I was hurrying out the door, I stumbled and spilled all over the carpet. To make matters worse, I was completely late for school.

It all started out terribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then it went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
